Ok, short introduction to Kitzbühel :)
Most guys might be at the Hahnenkammbahn. It is a gondola that goes up
the mountain. Right next to the beginning of the gondola (so at the
bottom (!) of the valley are the beginner slopes.
So chances might be quite small to seee professional snowboarders at all :)
But with your posting an idea came to my mind.
A very important issue is to warm up before you get onto the board.
We could combine this with building a kicker (ramp) on the blue slopes
(there is a rather good place to do that).
Thus you might get the chance of seeing some guys break their bones.

About the time in general:
If we meet at 0900 and have to get equipment for everybody i'd say we
hit the slopes at 1100 if we are lucky.
From that time on I hope you will like lying in the snow as much as we
all do and try to spend as much time in it as possible.
Snow sport = early bird sport :)

I also would like to state some things about clothes:
Get a beanie (mütze), it will protect your ears as you go faster.
Get gloves (no wool, wool will freeze the gloves and your hands in it)
Get at leasst snowboard trousers (as a beginner you will spend some time
sitting (by contract ;-)) and chances are quite good to get a neat cold
or worse things.
Goggles:
If the weather is sunny a normal pair of sunglasses should do. Make sure
they have UV protection (plenty of it).
If the weather gets worse get a snowboard/skiiing goggle.
Price ranges from 20 Euros up.
If you go faster don't have your eyes unprotected.

peace
