[Neos] Guideline for preserving data while re-installing Neos = Backup

Hi folks!


is there any guideline/howto on backing up all user content?


Usecase would be that I need to keep this data while 
exchanging/re-installing the complete Neos (1.1) codebase:

- texts/pages and the site structure (= tree)
- images
- users, their roles and data (Name, eMail-addresses, ...)
- customizations spread all over different files/paths


What would be the steps to be taken?

1.) Backup ...???
2.) Backup ...???
3.) Backup ...???

4.) delete TYPO3-Neos-1.1 folder
5.) re-install TYPO3-Neos-1.1
6.) Copy backed up file ... to ... ???
7.) Copy backed up file ... to ... ???
8.) Copy backed up file ... to ... ???

(Database would be left "as-is", I guess?)
