As usual shortly before the Christmas holidays, everyone in the team is
really busy. But we just took the chance to talk for 30 minutes about
the code sprint that took place in November[1] and about some important
things to tackle in 2015.
Here's a condensed summary, feel free to add comments/suggestions:

Participants: Andreas, Aske, Bastian, Christopher, Christian, Daniel,
Karsten, Markus, Robert

November 2014 sprint review
---------------------------

* First time with Product Owner, first time with slack & jira
	-> worked out really well in general
* possible improvements:
** even more planning ahead in order to avoid too many changes during
the sprint and to meet expectations
** 1.2 release during the sprint was challenging, this situation could
be avoided
** stability of master was bad after the sprint (probably partly because
of the premature end of the sprint)

Slack vs IRC
------------

* In general: Very positive, the team likes it
* Problems not yet solved:
** IRC support -> how to help the community with questions?
** automatic registration / typo3.org integration

jira vs forge
-------------

* Not everyone seems to favor jira over redmine, but especially for RMs
it greatly improves the situation
* Problems not yet solved:
** What to do about the > 500 open tickets in forge? (auto-close those
with missing feedback?)
** Re-evaluate our workflow and properly document usage (e.g. tagging of
affected and fix-version)

In general there is a some confusion regarding tools we use. We'll
create a central and up-to-date info page to address this[2]

2015
----

There were lots of topics we couldn't cover within the short time available.
In January we should try to meet (possibly in person) to discuss the
next milestones and to prepare the 1.3 release.
