[Neos] problems installing neos

Hey 

First time I use this mailing list and first time i install neos. 
I try to install neos on a shared hosting. When i call the /setup i get this error:

The path to your PHP binary could not be detected. Please set it manually in Configuration/Settings.yaml.

then i created the settings.yaml file to specify the path by...

# You might need to uncomment the following lines and specify
# the location of the PHP binary manually.
core:
  phpBinaryPathAndFilename: '/usr/bin/php'



but still i get the error. my php path i figured out by typing "which php" in the console and get /usr/bin/php
this link say me that i have to add open_basedir, but how can i do this? i have no access to php.ini
