That's weird as a newer version of Libxml should be included since PHP 
5.3.2.

You should try updating PHP, the current version of the 5.3 branch is 
5.3.27.
If you have the chance to upgrade to 5.4 or 5.5 you should do *that* as 
Neos runs significantly faster with those.
