[TYPO3-50-general] Strange behavior when attempting to add new CEs

Hi list,

currently, I experience some strange behavior when trying to add content 
elements.

The topmost screen 1 shows the situation, how the "buble" looks when 
clicking at the [ + ] icon. Looks like all the tab content is put to the 
first tab.

A very few seconds after looking (!) at the bubble, ie having not 
clicked something, suddenly Screen 2 happens: That is content from the 
start page! Without doing anything, the "bubble" content changed to the 
content from the start page. It even looks like it tries to load some 
AJAX stuff, but fetches the web root, hence retrieves the start page.

Screen 3 tries to show an insight about the AJAX stuff happening, if I'm 
right, the very first one is the "New content elements" content, while 
the second entry obviously loads the start page. This might be the thing 
of screen 2.


So... *sigh*... any ideas what this could be?
