[TYPO3-50-general] Staging functions in TYPO3/Flow 3

Hello there, TYPO3 - futurists!

I'm still writing on my masther thesis and I'm looking for the part 
"Staging functions" in TYPO3.
As I know, FLOW3 should support this functionality: 
http://forge.typo3.org/issues/show/399

But... does anybody already know how it will work?
Is there a draft or specification that somebody
could forward to me?
