[TYPO3-50-general] ExtJs License

Hi Peter,
The GPL is a treacherous beast. As far as I know you can do just about
anything with a GPL'ed products except:

- Distribute a GPL'ed product without offering the source for, at most,
a nominal distribution fee
- Modify the product and distribute your version without offering the source

If you're incorporating GPL'ed code in your product, like linking to a
GPL'ed library, the GPL affects your entire product and you'll have to
provide the entire source. As far as I'm aware, this is why the LGPL was
created. So you could link against LGPL libraries without needing to
release the source for your entire product.

Cheers,
Bas
