Sorry for pooping the party, but "fluid" doesn't always have good  
connotations in English, meaning instable or unsettled (likely to  
change).

Two quotes from the New Oxford American Dictionary on my Mac: "our  
plans are still fluid" and "the fluid political situation of the  
1930s"...
