I have to clarify the things a little bit. FLOW3 (and thus 'gimmefive') 
requires at least PHP v5.2. You don't have to switch to PHP v6.0. The 
'PHP6' named in the manual of 'gimmefive' is only a package of TYPO5 
that provides some wrapper classes to get UTF8 strings treated right.
