[TYPO3-50-general] Package-Development feature/problem

Hi,

we are now developing TYPO3CGL-Package. Until now it's no in the
trunk-version. So if want to test it with the latest version, we have to
copy it to one web-directory...

On T3 4.x you it's easily done with a symlink(linux)/junction(win):
So you have your htdocs/mydevelopment/ (incl. typo3conf/, typo3temp/)
The src-dirs (typo3/,t3lib/,misc/) can be include via symlink to any
source version.
The extention-project-dir can also be included via symlink to the
typo3conf/ext/yourExt/...
So you don't have to copy something. It's all working fine and you can
have your own svn-repository for each project-extension.

But developing a package in this way is not possible, because the
"system"-source and the project-package-source are in the same folder,
so you have to include each package on it's own.
We have following structure:
TRUNK-Verison of T3 5.0:
- Getting this via SVN with all packages:
TYPO3CGL:
- Having our own SVN-Project
So somehow you have to merge them, it's only possible via copying one
part into to the other.

I hope you get, what I mean.

So a "function" for an easy development would be cool, otherwise project
management is very difficult. Especially if you want to change to T3
5.0, it would be realy interesting, if the new T3 would provide
something for an easy development.

Additionaly there should be some helpers like file-templates for eclipse
(or other common editors) etc.

Cheers,

Malte
