It has basic stuff, like AOP and DI, the component manager and more, but 
it does not provide a way of sending mails, handling files, .... (yet).

Those things will partly be implemented (we'll have a resource manager 
for "file" handling), partly they should be independent packages (like 
mail handling, logging, ...).

So I'd say it's hard to imagine how it will turn out, currently. But in 
any case we will promote ways of using the framework together with 4.x.
