Exactly! The idea is not to bring TYPO3 v5 towards v4 but to ease the 
move from v4 to v5 by providing new concepts to v4. MVC in upcoming 4.3 
is one of those. It won't allow extensions to be compatible to v5 but if 
developers update their extensions and use those new concepts as they 
come, the move to v5 will be easier.
