thanks for your reply!

sounds very intersting! especially the organisations part, which would
improve the multi-site administration.

permissions for resources sounds perfect for me too.

when it comes to the simple username/password thing i would hope to keep
more open minded. currently building SSO solutions or integrating typo3
into a SSO infrastructure is a bit tweaky. ldap is only an extension.
bridges to other software requires even more configs. due to different
md5 implementations its hard or even impossible to map a mail-server to
typo3 or vice-versa ('reply to website' for ex). and organisations dont
want to share a common username space - usernames like 'wmueller' will
be everywhere. and 'unpersonel' accounts (think 'webmaster',
'sales-moderator', ...) often just be around and no one feels
responsible. i had much better experiences with emailaddress/password
combinations. so there is always someone to ask. no reply no account.
but your right those are already details when thinking in concepts. but
an account 'real person' mapping should exist, even for cron-job-accounts.

well: i will give m1 some space on the server :-)

thanks for your efforts!

regards

werner
