And that was my first comment ever done to Sebastian regarding 5.0.

I'm also in the wagon of people worried that TYPO3 performance *can* 
suffer from too much high end/theoretical stuff. But let's wait 'till we 
can test version 5 with Apache Bench or Jmeter... ;)
