[Flow] Question concerning CAT-tool exports from Typo3

Dear community,

Does anybody have any experience working with Trados (SDL Studio) and MemoQ exports out of Typo 3 and the consequent import of those processed files? It is about translation. I could open both the MemoQ and SDL studio exports with my CAT tools. However, the client also sent so-called configuration files for those file formats, and I do not know what to do with them. Do I need them for the reexport into Typo3?
