No, you're completely right and we have to adjust the tutorials!
I would vote against adding a *$this->persistenceManager->persistAll()* 
to the method in question. Instead we should rework the quickstart 
tutorial so that entities are only persisted via POST or CLI requests..

Please note that Flow 2.0 is in beta state still – But thanks to 
feedback like yours we can hopefully adjust all example code until the 
final release!
