[Flow] Extract image EXIF data for resource objects and resize image on upload

Hello everybody,

I think about building an Image Gallery / Image-Management Tool with 
Flow. But I have two questions, the definitive Guide couldn't anser to me.

1st: Is it possible (and if how) to extract EXIF data (if image has any) 
for storing when uploading an image?

2nd: Does someone of you have an indea of how to implement a "resize 
image on upload" function? I think when the Users upload 20MP Photos the 
Resource Objects will become quite big (which i want to avoid) - and I 
would need a huge Space for all the Images (which i want to avoid also). 
So my thought is shrinking all Images to - lets say 1024x768 for example...
