Hi Bastian,

nice to hear you are planning to create a new tutorial ;)

I would prefer plain JSON due to the fact that we are using it quite a lot for the synchronization of our shops with the inhouse ERP-System (third party software from our IT-partner, i had to make some minor changes to fit our needs) so i can transfer my knowledge and experiences from this peace of software to the new project. And the data-structures to be transferred are quite simple so in my opinion there is no actual need to dig deeper into HAL or OData.

I will follow the discussion from your first link, nice to see the progress cause i'm planning to do the new project with TYPO3 Neos ;)
