I recently got in contact with Akii and he has tried (WIP) to integrate 
https://github.com/l3pp4rd/DoctrineExtensions/blob/master/doc/translatable.md 
with TYPO3 Flow. His package is available at 
https://github.com/Akii/Translatable and he also has a blog post

As Akii said to me on IRC it is really a work in progress and has 
issues but you could also try out as i am doing so.
