Hi folks,
I just merged the (as it seems) last feature for TYPO3 Flow 2.0: support
for safe requests and simplification of CSRF handling.
Please take a look at this change set:
https://review.typo3.org/#/c/19989/
and read the short documentation update:
https://review.typo3.org/#/c/19989/9/Documentation/TheDefinitiveGuide/PartIII/Persistence.rst
I also wrote a blog post about this new feature:
http://robertlemke.com/en/blog/no-more-csrf-hassles-safe-requests-in-typo3-flow-2-0.html
We plan to tag 2.0.0 beta 2 today and from then on only integrate bug
fixes into the 2.0 branch.
Since there were various unplanned last-minute changes, a full review
queue and a bit limited resources, the timeline for 2.0 shifted much
more than we expected. But the result is a pretty cool release and I'm
optimistic that we'll have a version 2.1 during this summer already.
I'm not sure when we'll release 2.0.0 final - that depends on the bugs
we and you might find. Currently I expect the release to be in mid May.
Hope to see many of you at Inspiring Flow this weekend!
Cheers,
Robert
