[FLOW3-general] Bootstrap: Session before Resource?

Hi FLOW-Enthusiasts,

are there specific reasons to initialize the session during 
bootstrap before the resources?
My problem is, that I saved an ImageVariant (from 
TYPO3.Image) in a session. This now checks during its 
initialization if its parent resource exists, which exits 
with an exception, as the stream-wrapper is not yet 
registered.

My experiments with a changed bootstrap order seems to work 
fine.
