Probably. See the "raise version number" discussion. If after more than
one year we cannot go expect people to have a (more) recent PHP 5.3
version, when will 5.4. be accepted? It would lead to this accusation:

So we should keep inconsistent naming to cater for a IMHO broken
filesystem? I personally would never want to deploy from a
case-insensitive FS to a case-sensitive FS, failure is bound to happen.

We had our coding guidelines, longer than the others. Waste would be to
adjust to something else now.
I don't really get if you like what we do or not, and thus I reckon you
just had a bad day. :)
