it's hard to say what's the problem in your case. However, we have identified several bottlenecks (mostly in the bootstrap and reflection service) in FLOW3 1.0 which are all solved in 1.1. FLOW3 1.1 has a way lower memory footprint and we could achieve big performance gains in real-world applications already.

I'm not sure yet when FLOW3 1.1 final will be released, but a first beta is almost around the corner.
