Years ago I worked on a basic Doctrine (1.x) integration to TYPO3 v4 
with Christopher [1].
Back then we used so called doctrine templates to transparently support 
enablefields and localization [2]..

In FLOW3 the same thing could be realized with mixins - as soon as we 
have those ;)
Until then, you'll have to solve that yourself - also have a look at
