[FLOW3-general] FLOW3 checkout and own project inside

 Hi,


I came across a problem and would ask, if someone can help me on that.


I have a git clone of the FLOW3 repository where I can pull every change
made.
Inside the Packages/Application folder I have my own project which I want
to keep in my own git repository.


So how can that be done?


I know git submodule which is used to keep foreign repositories inside my
own, but is that working vice versa? Creating a submodule modifies the
surrounding repository config as far as I know. I am not sure if that will
work?
