I just rebased the patchset to the current master and resolved the

There is another changeset that is required now in order to get the 
DateTime related functional tests green again: 
https://review.typo3.org/#/c/10069/ - If that one is merged, I'll take 
care of adjusting the behavior of the float/integer converters, so 
please review! ;)
