I don't see that danger here. FLOW3 is open to any JS Framework, and for
Phoenix UI we need to decide an couple to some framework eventually. As
for the ExtDirect connectors yes we have them but we also have a JSON
view for general JS connection. I think we would have the worst coupling
with using ExtJS because then we'd have lots of logic on the client side
and ExtDirect as connection to the server side so it would be a hell to
create a different UI. With our current approach everything is much more
loosely coupled and the UI could be replaced by something else easier.
As I said we still use ExtDirect but just out of convenience right now.
I think we will replace that sooner or later.

Give Sencha guys feedback on what? Didn't get it sorry ;)
I haven't been in touch with Steffen since months (seems no one has
really) and Nils also seemed to be pretty occupied with other stuff than
phoenix but yes I agree we should give Sencha some feedback about our
experiences.
