Yes that would be a good idea to see the presentation so you get a rough
idea what we have and why we have decided to do so.

To add some more info about why we added Sproutcore and not replaced
ExtJS with it. Sproutcore 2 is built on jQuery as Aloha is too so we
have jQuery in anyway. Sproutcore just adds MVC components, no UI
components. We are not really happy with the ExtJS (still v3) tree but
we have some experience with it and so just reused a bit of what we have
already. That is why we still load ExtJS in the current backend (and
because ExtDirect is just convenient as we have created all the
connections to the serverside alreay). Maybe at some point if we have a
replacement for the tree we could eventually drop ExtJS, but I guess we
will keep it. Having to load 200KB more isn't a big problem. It is
backend only and will be cached by the browser, so it doesn't really
matter. For Mobile use we probably need a different backend anyway and
that would be the only use case I can see where some kB of javascript
could matter.
