[FLOW3-general] Rumours of Phoenix dropping ExtJS?

Hi,

Although a bit off-topic in a FLOW3 list this is the most active of the 
FLOW3/v5 related lists.

 From some tweets I learned that Phoenix seems to have dropped ExtJS as 
JS framework. I couldn't find anything in the newsgroups about this and 
frankly I'm very much surprised.

For years ExtJS has been presented as the base for the v5 UI. At the 
T3CON there were various presentations by ExtJS (now Sencha) guys.
Large parts of the v4 backend have been rewritten to use ExtJS. I 
believe this was also part of the transition to v5.

Can someone confirm that this is true and if yes, explain why?
