.. and IMO is not a practiable solution as it will introduce a bunch of
other problems. ;( This issue already stopped me from doing it.

Making github support '/' in rep names is impossible I guess. :-<

The only solution I can think of is to use something like 'git config
submodule.XXXX.url s#/#-#', which makes a git clone quite troublesome.

Also feeding url.XXX.insteadOf could mayme offer a solution.

Would really be nice if someone could come up with another approach.
