[FLOW3-general] Working with XML

Hi,

I've just installed the latest FLOW3 release in order to get in touch
with MVC programming and the upcoming way of writing extension to
TYPO3 - and so far I like it a lot! :-)

I decided to rewrite a extension (just for getting the knowledge and
training) where I work with some XML files. What is the correct way to
handle this kind of data in FLOW3? Should I create a function in my
repository (should the handling even go there?) or how?

Please bare with me, as I'm totally new in the MVC and FLOW3 world and
way of programming! :-)
