as Sebastian already wrote, support for Fluid is the hardcoded default currently.
However, it is very easy to use a different view by overriding the resolveView() method in the ActionController. You can do that either in your actual controller, in some common base controller inheriting the ActionController or even via AOP if you're really brave.
