yes, I agree. And I do plan to speed up FLOW3 way more even in dev context,
but currently (in this alpha stage) it's not the highest priority.

well, same experience here - xdebug slows down FLOW3 immensely. But at least on
my machine the current speed is tolerable even with xdebug enabled.
We'll make it faster – promised ...
