[TYPO3-windows] test setup - images and fonts

Hi,

I cannot get the images to be shown in the test setup (includes all fonts and images - the originals also).

Typo3 seems to find the originals like for example here: 

F:/_XAMPP/htdocs/dev/typo3_src-8.7.7/typo3/sysext/install/Resources/Public/Images/TestInput/Test.gif[0]

and generates:

F:/_XAMPP/htdocs/dev/typo3_src-8.7.7/typo3temp/assets/images/installTool-write-gif59c274021d41a824058093.gif

the last file equates to: localhost/dev/typo3_src-8.7.7/typo3temp/assets/images/installTool-write-gif59c274021d41a824058093.gif which is easily accessible in browser so the original is being read and the new file is created.

Occasionally I was getting "F:/_XAMPP/htdocs/typo3_src-8.7.7/typo3/sysext/install/Resources/Public/Images/TestInput/Test.gif[0]" which I then couldn't find in browser, but re-downloaded, re-installed and now cannot reproduce that behaviour.

Why can't typo3 "test system settings" see them?

All other icons etc. show normally in Typo3.
Windows 10, XAMPP, Typo3 8.7.7.
I assume permissions can't be a problem (although I checked this as best as I could) because the new files are being created.

Any ideas?
