hi,
maybe you can use entitys, but i thing the second way, to add the js with
page.headerData.value = <script type="text/javascript" src="fileadmin/scripts/main.js"></script>
or more elegant
page.includeJS.file12 = fileadmin/js/main.js
works fine i thing.
