Hi Brian,

One thing that comes to mind is incompatibility of the extension due to 
the use of hardcoded *nix path seperation characters.

also known as 'slashes'

You'll need to fire up a nice debugging session. Have you checked the 
bug tracker to see if this is already reported as a bug?
