[TYPO3-windows] IIS 6.0 and php + Default SMTP server

No - it uses the normal php-configured mail.

Weired is sometimes the MS-SMTP included with the IIS, what causes
that most people install other Mailservers on their Windows-Servers.

If you can make shure that PHP can mail, TYPO3 does aswell.

The directmail-plugin is a bit different, and if it is workin depends
on the mailserver (wich one u use isnt reported)

Or u use a sendmail-clone for Windows, i.E.
http://www.glob.com.au/sendmail/
but you have to configure it proper
