[TYPO3-windows] quickstart problems

Hi Ihave looked everywhere with no luck I installed quickstart. It would not 
install database so installed manually. the site now just displays
Page is being generated

when I go to the admin the username and password what the hell are they I 
can see the username is admin but the password ??

Please help why this info is not on the top of any list ??
