[Typo3-windows] Latest stable windows version

Hello,

Here's the current info: Your suggestion fixed the "sv" problem. Now, I have 
the Blank Page problem. I edited the index.php in the <root> and commented 
out the "die" lines. I still get a blank page.

Environment
------------
Win2000 Server / Apache 2.0.54 /MySQL 4.1.14 / PHP 5.1.5 Win32 / TYPO3 
3.8.0-Dummy
Apache runs / PHP runs (phpinfo) / MySQL runs
index.php - all lines containing the die() function have been // commented 
out.
'everyone' has full control rights to the htdocs directory (wide open)

index.php renders as a blank page.

Ideas?
