[Typo3-windows] only MySQL?

Hi,

You need MySQL at least for the core functionality of Typo3.

You can connect to other DBs for extensions, but you'll need your company to
agree to MySQL as well, anyway.

is there anybody, who had success in connecting Typo3 to a Database like
MSSQL or to a *.mdb-file.
I don't know, if my company agrees with MySQL.

Who can explain, how to go?
