[Typo3-windows] (no subject)

Hi list

As I'm not into deep programming I just take a chance, that someone out
there would help me on the installation of Typo3 on my server. I've come as
far as having installed the databases. I've had access to configuration. But
when I try to access the backend section I get this error message:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in
E:\home\clikkelsendk\www\fullxml\typo3\quickstart\typo3\index.php on line 54
Could anyone please tell me what went wrong

I know it's probably a pretty stupid question. But bare with me. And please
help set up this software...
