[Typo3-UG UK] Admin Rights

Hi ,

I am having a problem with allocating admin rights to a front end user.

I have created the user and can login to the front end.

Problem.
how do I switch on the admin panel for user's once they are logged in so
that they can edit the front end.

I can switch on the admin panel and it works fine but this appears on the 
site even if the user is not logged in.

Maybe someone can point me to a tutorial
