[TYPO3-UG US] Atlanta TYPO3 get together; July 28, 2007

Would you be interested in a Cannonbose TYPO3 get together in Atlanta  
on Saturday July 28, 2007  to talk about strengthening partnerships  
and increasing North American TYPO3 marketing?

Overall, the get together is very informal because it was originally  
a business meeting for Cannonbose. However, I figured since there's  
people already coming from Texas, South Carolina, and New Hampshire,  
I might as well open the doors to others.

Tentative Agenda
1) Meet all folks and get acquainted. Virtually all the work we will  
do in the future will have to be done via IM, e-mail and phone.  
Having met face-to-face will help us better connect via those methods

2) Give a feel for our current expertise plus the areas in which  
we're looking to grow over the next 6-12 months.

3) Get a good feel for how Cannonbose work and how we all can best  
fit with that system

4) Look at some of the work Cannonbose have done previously. Ask  
questions about how the project was executed, what challenges were  
faced, etc.

5) Ron Hall will brief us on the Dallas TYPO3 situation

6) Engage in any TYPO3 or web talk that comes up.

7) Better figure out how we can market to each other's advantage.

8) Check out some each others TYPO3 sites

9) Find out who's interested in attending the 2007 TYPO3 conference  
in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Cannonbose and partners will be staying in the The Westin Atlanta  
Airport hotel

I booked that deal through hotwire.com. Not sure if you have used the  
site, but you don't know the hotel until you book. There was only one  
4 star around the airport and it turned out to be The Westin Atlanta  
Airport at $74.00 a night plus the usual fees. Go to hotwire.com and  
select airport area (find the 4 star). Looks like a nice place.

Several of us are flying in Friday night and leaving Sunday  
afternoon. I can arrange a dinner or more for us, but please  
understand that each person pays their own way. You could say this  
meeting is just a big TYPO3 usergroup get together.

Spouses are invited.

Please let me know who all is interested so I can reserve a  
conference room. Normally I reserve the 10 person rooms, so let me  
know soon in case we need bigger.

For folks not able to make it, we'll try to get an Internet  
connection to send out a Skype web video.

FYI - Though I'm the TYPO3 US marketing head, I'm going to be holding  
this meeting under my Cannonbose Presidency since it was originally a  
business and partnership meeting that I opened to the TYPO3 community.
