[TYPO3-UG US] Announcement: Web based reader of our Newsgroups

Hi Ben,

Actually, the Jive software was donated by the Jive company for use on  
the "support.typo3.org" URL. However, since Michelle had left the  
community over a year ago, and both she and I stopped offering support  
and hosting of the forum, anyone in the community could have contacted  
the Jive company to work out keeping the software for the community.  
As part of the agreement with Jive, we couldn't legally support the  
forum since we were no longer part of the community. At the time,  
Michelle had to use her typo3.org email address to work with Jive, so  
once she had left the community her agreement with them also ended.  
However, they were happy to donate the software to the community.

Since there was much resistance in the community at the time for using  
the forum in the first place, that perhaps may have been a bigger  
reason why a different path was chosen once Michelle and I stopped  
donating our bandwidth for the Jive software.

Also, despite Michael continuing to misrepresent a private company as  
being involved in us donating our time and bandwidth, it was Michelle  
and I who donated our time and effort to providing the forum as a  
service to the community as individuals. We'd appreciate it if you  
could give the right credit in your article, even though Michael  
apparently can't do that after we correct him every time he  
misrepresents us.
