[TYPO3-UG US] New Members for the "Learning TYPO3" section

Hello!

I am a new user. I bought the book "TYPO3" by Altmann, Fritz &
Hinderink. It has helped a LOT. But the softlinks listed in the book do
not work on the typo3.org website. Mainly I was looking to download the
examples used in the book. Does anyone know what I am talking about? And
if so, where I can download the examples?

Any help is appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I have two new members of the team for the "Learning TYPO3" section --
Marc Infield and Richard Fowler. Their company, Infield Design, is
located in San Francisco and they have worked on several T3 projects,
many of them for nonprofit organizations. They will be working on the
design and concept for a "fake" nonprofit organization to be used in the
new QuickStart package. The intent is to turn it back over to the team
for coding, tutorials and packaging. I've communicated the general list
of extensions we'd like to see in the site as were listed in earlier
posts.

I've had a few more volunteers sign up so I'll post a revised list of
teams later this evening.
