--></style></head><body bgcolor=white lang=DE link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Liebe Leute,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>vielleicht geht es auch einfacher: Vanish zu nutzen, ist ja nicht ganz unkompliziert, zumal, wenn die bei Vanish fehlende SSL-Fähigkeit durch spezielle Portkonfigurationen kompensiert werden muss. Die Leuphana Uni betreibt eine Site mit rund 38.000 Seiten. Bei dieser Systemgröße hatten wir in der Vergangenheit immer wieder massive Geschwindigkeitsprobleme. Darum hatten wir seinerzeit ebenfalls mit Vanish / Nginx geliebäugelt. Nachdem wir aber testweise einmal (– was recht einfach ist) Redis in Verbindung mit Staticfilecache probiert hatten, entfiel die Notwendigkeit aufwendigere Cache-Strategien einzusetzen vollständig.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Wir benutzen in typ03 Version 7 mit der Weiterentwicklung der nc_staticfilecache – hier zu finden <a href="https://github.com/lochmueller/staticfilecache">https://github.com/lochmueller/staticfilecache</a> und Redis für das Caching der DB-Prozesse. Damit liegen unsere Seiten via https:// in aller Regel bei Ladezeiten von 03 bis 0.6 Sekunden. Bzw. haben diese beiden Cacheverfahren ebenfalls mehr als 200% Geschwindigkeit gebracht. Neben vielen kleinen Performance-Optimierungen setzen wir derzeit vor allem auf einen <a href="https://extensions.typo3.org/extension/nc_staticfilecache/">Static File Cache</a>, weil normalerweise die Ergebnisse gut sind und es so wenig komplex ist. Leider führt bei uns die Kombination mit Realurl und unserem Template-Setup zu oft dazu, dass TYPO3 eine eigentlich cachbare Seite nicht cachen will. Deshalb hatte ich mich auf dem TYPO3 University Day in Darmstadt erkundigt, welche Kolleginnen und Kollegen Varnish schon an Hochschulen einsetzen.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Martin Mai (Bamberg) und Matthias Greiling (Wuppertal) haben sich gemeldet und wären bereit, ihr Wissen zu teilen (Danke!).
