[Typo3-UG Rhein-Neckar] Probleme mit dynamischen Grafiken

Hallo Forum,

ich habe probleme beim Arbeiten mit dynamisch generierten Grafiken. Ich 
habe im TypoScript versucht die Breite einer Grafik anzugeben, das 
Ergebnis, dass keine Grafik ausgegeben wird. Ohne die Angabe einer 
Breite funktionierts.

Ich habe gdlib und imagemagic verfügbar.

Ich weiß nicht wo ich anfangen soll, den Fehler zu suchen.

Ich habe mal die Image Processing-Tests aus dem Install-Tool durchlaufen 
lassen mit folgenden Ergebnissen:

Test 1: "Reading image formats" schlägt in allen Punkten fehl.
Test 2: "Writing GIF and PNG" schlägt in allen Punkten fehl.
Test 3: "Scaling images" schlägt in allen Punkten fehl.
Test 4: "Combining images" schlägt in allen Punkten fehl.
Test 5: "GD library functions" gibt korrekte Ergebnisse aus, lediglich 
unter "GIF compressing in GDLib" wird die Information ausgegeben:

correctly set so the gif_compress() function will take care of the 
compression for you!

Ich habe den gesamten Typo3-Ordner den chmod 755 verpasst, was ja 
eigentlich auch passen sollte.

Wer will wir bei der Lösung des Problems behilflich sein?
