Hi,

I have a freshly installed FreeBSD 6.1 Release server, including all the 
ports.

I want to know if I understand this right:

When installing Typo3 by going into to the proper ports directory 
/usr/.../www/typo3/ at the user prompt (with su), and then typing "make", is 
it true that all the required dependencies will also be installed and that 
in the end there will be a working FAMP server (FreeBSD-Apache-MySQL-PHP)?

Or should I install all the required ports seperately.

I am a newby with FreeBSD and UNIX, so I would be grateful for help in the 
form of installation guides or pointers to helpful information.

It is not so much as the installation of Typo3 but the installation of the 
environment in which I can setup Typo3.

Ik heb een verse FreeBSD installatie gedaan.

Ik wil graag weten of ik iets goed begrijp:

Wanneer je met su op de commandoregel naar de directory met de typo3 port 
gaat en dan "make" uitvoert, worden dan naast typo3 ook alle vereiste, 
afhankelijke bestanden geïnstalleerd, zodat je aan het einde een werkende 
FAMP-omgeving hebt met Typo3?

Of kan ik beter alle onderdelen apart installeren?

Ik ben nieuw met FreeBSD en UNIX, dus ik zou dankbaar zijn voor hulp in de 
vorm van installatiehandleiding of verwijzingen naar nuttige informatie.

Het gaat mij niet zozeer om de Typo3 setup (daar kom ik wel uit denk ik), 
maar om de installatie van de omgeving waarin Typ3 moet draaien.
