[TYPO3-UG Denmark] no image button i rte typo3 version 4.2.6 ,

I am trying to add some images to some text
But there is no image button in the "rich text editor"

I can add images through the backend but can't place them exactly where 
i want in the text.

I have also uploaded images to fileadmin/_temp_ and tried to link to the 
image with html: <img src="fileadmin/_temp_/imagename.jpg


I am also using firefox.

I have found some places where it looks like they adress a similiar 
problem.

I am new to typo3 and after +10 hours on this i am stuck.

Any ideas to work on would be nice
